Enhancing Teaching & Expanding Access: Handong UNITWIN OCW Program
The Handong UNITWIN Fellowship OpenCourseWare program at UNAI member institution Handong Global University has supported over 900 professors in 20 developing countries, enhancing teaching capacity and student access to free educational resources. This semester, it is assisting 25 professors in creating online lecture materials and has introduced a video on interactive online teaching.

Teaching Tools Ask "Are We on Track to Reach the SDGs by 2030?"
‘SDGs by 2030 – are we on track?’ is a digital resource showing how academics at the University of Sydney are working to achieve specific SDG targets. The endeavour includes 29 short narratives, infographics and student assignments that can be used as teaching prompts for academics looking to incorporate the SDGs into their course guides.

UAVEIRO REAP: Recycling and Reimbursement of PET Packaging Pilot System
In 2020, the applied for the Environment, Climate Change and Low Carbon Economy Program, with the aim of improving its waste management by including a reimbursement system for the deposit of polyethene terephthalic (PET) bottles and non-reusable cans. The basic principle of the REAP project is the possibility that UAveiro’s students and workers could be reimbursed for each bottle they return.

UiB Plastic Cleanup Campaign 2024: "Plastic Island"
Students and staff from the University of Bergen, together with long-standing partners, cleaned “Plastic Island†Lisle Lyngøy during this year’s plastic cleanup campaign. Sending a Message to COP 29: DMU Organizes Second Big River Clean-up
Joining with its local authority, Leicester City Council, and waterways charity the Canal and River Trust, UNAI member and SDG Hub 16 is organizing its second annual river clean-up on Wednesday, 13 November, as world leaders gather to discuss climate action at COP 29 in Baku, Azerbaijan. DMU encourages universities around the world to get involved in the project and take action on the same day.

INSEAD's Renewed MBA Curriculum for Social and Environmental Impact
In recent years, UNAI member institution has progressively incorporated sustainability topics into its MBA core courses, and this process is now complete. By embedding sustainability into all 14 core courses and introducing a mandatory 3-day real-life business simulation capstone, the offers a high-impact environment to facilitate discussions and cultivate responsible leaders, the refreshed curriculum first rolled out in January 2024.

Texila American University Boosts Community Health with Blood Drives
Texila American University (TAU) has emerged as a leading force in promoting community welfare in Guyana through its proactive blood donation drives. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, TAU has been dedicated to addressing the pressing need for blood in the region, often heightened by medical emergencies and ongoing health conditions. One of the university’s most recent and impactful drives took place on June 21, 2024, in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Services (NBTS).
